Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award" a discussion of M.Azim Ulfati

The stand out features of the companies’ approaches to managing operations
The Baldrige Program oversees the nation's only Presidential award for performance excellence while offering criteria, assessments, tools, training and a community for those dedicated to helping organizations improve.
The recipients who are recognized by the Baldridge performance excellence for the Baldrige award are based on the quality, the standards, innovative performance, management, financial practices, outstanding customer service satisfaction and outstanding employee.
For instance Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control, which had the standout features in designing quality missiles for the military, was awarded the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award in 2012.

The impressive attributes about the companies’ policies and procedures
The attributes, which has impressed me so much, and I find it very impressive is the great customer service, customer loyalty and its success to strategic marketing, a well-crafted game plan and persistence. The customers have rated the company above the DoD industry average. Based on my assessment, this company always give first priority to the customers which it gives the company a competitive advantage in all other contracting business with DoD and other Departments of the USA government based on the needs and wants.

How the companies emphasize continuous improvement and the use of rewards and incentives
Lockheed Martin has been working very hard and continues to work hard to improve their services and products for the government in designing different, best quality parts and delivering on time, every time. It relies on the collaborative efforts of its workforces for delivering continuous improvement and performance excellence. What gets measured in Martin Lockheed, it gets accomplished and what gets accomplished gets rewarded.
Strong reward and recognition programs propel team thinking and provide an incentive to improve continuously. Recognition may be small but significant -- of the verbal "thank you" variety, gift cards or a pat on the back. Team performance also delivers team rewards, such as the catered lunch serving and so on.
